A marketplace built by and for the marching arts community.
Performance Supply Co. exists because buying and selling marching arts gear has always been harder than it should be. Facebook groups are chaotic, consignment shops take 30 to 40 percent, and corps-specific storefronts only cover one organization's gear at a time. There has never been a single dedicated home for the entire ecosystem — drum corps, band, drumline, and color guard — until now.
Marching programs spend tens of thousands of dollars on gear that gets used hard for a few seasons and then sits in storage. That gear has real value to the next program down the line. Our job is to make sure it gets there safely, at a fair price, with as little friction for the seller and buyer as possible.
PSC is a peer-to-peer marketplace, not a consignment shop. Sellers list, hold, and ship their own gear. We don't take possession of anything. Payments are held by PSC until tracking is uploaded, so buyers don't lose money to ghosts and sellers don't ship without getting paid. School districts can pay by purchase order. Every organization can be verified through the circuits they march in — DCI, WGI, BOA, DCA — so buyers know who they're dealing with.
PSC is built by Mike Brown, a long-time member of the marching arts community who got tired of watching gear deals fall apart in Facebook comment threads. The platform launched for the DCI 2026 season and will expand to WGI in 2027.
