Adams Marching Series mellophones (lacquer) from a drum corps fleet, purchased new in 2021. This listing covers 9 horns, all graded Fair (C); buy 1 or up to all 9 at the same per-horn price. Seller reports every horn plays. Mouthpiece included with serials 2667, 2669, 2661, 2665 only. Seller flagged repair needed on serial 2664 (see the notes by serial). Each horn comes with its case. Sold as-is. Serial numbers in this listing: 2660, 2734, 2729, 2664, 2667, 2669, 2661, 2665, 2653. Condition notes by serial: - 2660 (case #40): slight bell crease at edge, where discoloration is. Some discoloration around joints. In good shape. - 2734 (case #34): losing lacquer in places, some scratches and some discoloration. - 2729 (case, no number): some scratches on bottom, small dents on bow. - 2664 (case #43): bell dent, some lacquer coming off, some discoloration around joints. Repair needed: yes. - 2667 (case #42): some scratches, losing a little plating (gold/silver), slight crinkle in bell, sluggish 3rd valve. - 2669 (case #27): main tuning slide is stuck, discoloration around pinky ring. - 2661 (case #33): lots of scratches and some lacquer is coming off. Some dents, bell flattened a bit. - 2665 (case #29): lacquer coming off in many areas, completely off of valve buttons, some scratches, main tuning slide is stuck. - 2653 (case #31): bell dent was rolled out, lots of discoloration around edge of bell/lost lacquer.
