Adams Marching Series mellophones (lacquer) from the Troopers drum corps fleet, purchased new in 2023. This listing covers 6 horns, all graded Fair (C); buy 1 or up to all 6 at the same per-horn price. Seller reports every horn plays. Mouthpiece included with serials 2681, 1796 only. Seller flagged repair needed on serial 2684 (see the notes by serial). Each horn comes with its case. Sold as-is. Serial numbers in this listing: 2681, 2684, 1796, 2732, 2677, 2716. Condition notes by serial: - 2681 (case #41): discoloration on leadpipe joint, lacquer coming off on outside of bell. - 2684 (case #26): slight discoloration around some joints. Repair needed: yes. - 1796 (case #38): sluggish 1st valve. - 2732 (case #39): a few small dents, some discoloration around joints. - 2677 (case #35): slight discoloration, minor ding on bell, sluggish 2nd valve. - 2716 (case #36): discoloration and dent on bell, lots of discoloration on many joints. Original purchase price: $1,246 each in 2023.
